Ready to start? Book a free initial call

The most useful thing most self-builders can do is talk to a designer before doing anything else. Not after finding a plot. Before.

Wherever you're starting from

  • You have a plot and want to know if it will work. Bring the location, any planning history and your rough ideas.
  • You're looking for a plot. Tell us the area, budget and what you want to build.
  • You have planning permission and want to move to detailed design.
  • You're not sure where to start. The most common starting point of all.

Four steps to getting started

StepWhat happens
01 Free initial callA conversation about your plot or search, brief, budget and timeline, with an honest view of what's possible.
02 Written proposalA fixed-fee proposal for the stage you need, with scope, deliverables and timescale.
03 Plot appraisal, if neededPlanning prospects, constraints and design potential, before you conclude missives.
04 Work beginsOnce the proposal is accepted.

Questions

Do I need drawings or a survey before I call?

No. Bring whatever you have, but nothing is needed for the first call.

Can I appoint you for just planning or just the warrant?

Yes. Every stage can be appointed on its own.
