Who we are

ED Design Ltd (“ED Design”, “we”) is registered in Scotland, company number SC703081, at 20 Victoria Place, Stirling FK8 2QT. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. Contact us at chris@eddesign.uk or on 01786 388773.

What we collect

When you use the contact form or download the Self-Build Hub guide, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, where your site is, your project type, budget, timescale and message, plus the page you sent the form from.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to send you the guide you asked for and to discuss your project. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it for us

This website is hosted by Netlify, which receives and stores form submissions on our behalf and checks them for spam. Netlify may process data in the United States under recognised safeguards. Enquiries are then sent to our email, provided by Google Workspace. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares its IP address with Google when a page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your project, and for up to two years after our last contact if no project goes ahead. Information about clients is kept for as long as required for our records and legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
